ANNOUNCEMENT: Hello everyone , 🛡 BADGES FAQ 🛡 🔸 Where can I find the Achievement section? 🔹 Log into STEPN > tap your Profile pic at the upper left > Achievement. 🔸 My achievement section is all grayed out! What gives? 🔹 First, make sure your STEPN app is updated to version 0.8.13. Then start a walk/jog/run in the STEPN app, and end it after 2 or 3 secs. Finally, go back to the Achievements section. You should be able to claim your badges. 🔸 I am absolutely sure I’ve already obtained the xxxx achievement, but the badge for it is still grayed out. Why? 🔹 Some achievements are based on past events, and those events are archived. the system needs to review archived events to decide which players can get which achievements. This is estimated to take a couple of days. 🔸 How do I earn Achievement points? 🔹 Just burn GMT by performing in-app activities inside the STEPN app. 🔸 Can I earn Achievement points by using GMT to purchase stuff in the marketplace? 🔹 Yes, GMT traded in the marketplace will still count, but you will get more Achievement points if you burn GMT. 🔸 Do all badges require Achievement points? 🔹 No, some badges can be claimed without any Achievement points. 🔸 When will iOS get the Badge update? 🔹 No timeline yet, but we'll announce as soon as the update is available. 🔸 Will badges/achievements take into account everything we've done since joining towards the achievement system? Or just activities done after the update? 🔹 It will take into account everything from Day 1. 🔸 Can achievement points be transferred to other accounts? 🔹 No. 🔸 Can we sell achievement points? 🔹 No. 🔸 Can we sell badges? 🔹 Yes, some badges will be tradable. 🔸 Will there be seasonal badges? 🔹 Not at Badge Feature launch. 🔸 Why don’t I have the “burn xxx energy” badge? I know I’ve burned xxxx amount of energy! 🔹 We realize that some players are "guesstimating" their burned energy by grabbing their total hours in STEPN x 12 (since you burn 12 energy per hour). However, this is not accurate because STEPN’s time and distance counters continue to run in STEPN if you leave the app running, even if you have ZERO energy. So if the badge for “Burn xxxx energy” is grayed out, that means you have not met the energy burn requirement for that badge yet. 🔸 Do badges share same inventory space as Gems, MB and scrolls? 🔹 Badges have its own, unlimited inventory (your earned badges + any badges you purchase) 🔸 Can you have more than one copy of a single badge? e.g. Earn one yourself, THEN buy the same badge from the marketplace? 🔹 Yes, you can buy an unlimited quantity of badges. 🔸 How do you level up your account? I'm currently at account lvl 5, what must I do to level it up? 🔹 Your level will automatically go up as you burn more STEPN energy. 🔸 What's the highest STEPN account level possible? 🔹 99. 🔸 If a run was tagged as a bot run, will the distance/energy burned from that bot run be included in the calculation for badges? 🔹 No. 🔸 Are badges obtainable in Solana chain only? I achieved a milestone in BSC, but the badge was awarded in SOL. 🔹 The Achievement system is shared across realms, but the badges are awarded in the SOL realm only. 🔸 I have other questions not addressed here!
